Appointments
-
The first appointment usually takes around 45 minutes. It includes going through your history, an examination of your spine and posture, and/or neurological or orthopedic tests if necessary. If appropriate, the Chiropractor may provide your first adjustment today.
This appointment includes:
A general overview of your health history and challenges
Neurological screening
Posture Analysis
Recommendations and care plan
First treatment
-
This appointment will last approximately 20 minutes.
We discuss your examination results and recommended plan, answer any questions you might have to help you to reach your health goals. -
Follow-up appointments take a lot less time. With the groundwork laid, these only take up around 15 minutes of your time each visit. Healing takes time and consistency achieves results. Make sure you keep your appointments – each visit builds on the one before. This momentum will help you achieve your goals faster.
During your care we will conduct periodic reviews to check your progress and revisit your goals to ensure you're on track. -
If you haven’t been in the practice for more than 8 months, we will conduct a another thorough examination of your spine and nerve system and discuss your current concerns.
Health Insurance
In the Netherlands chiropractic falls under alternative care and we are registered with the Dutch Chiropractic Federation (DCF) and Stichting Nationaal Register van Chiropractoren (SNRC) and International Chiropractor’s Association (ICA).
We are registered for reimbursement with all Dutch health insurance companies in the link,
however each company and individual package varies.
We encourage you to contact your insurance company to find out exactly how much that reimbursement will be.
The fee is paid in the practice after your appointment and the invoice will be sent to you for submission to your health insurance company.
Chiropractic does not use up any of your yearly excess (eigen risico).
